Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Elementary who is certified to practice in the state to work in a school setting. This is a contract, full-time position with an 8:00am–3:00pm schedule.

The role collaborates with school teams, families and related service providers to implement IEP goals, deliver inclusive instruction, coordinate assessments and IEP meetings, and ensure appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential required.
• Knowledge of curriculum and SPED policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals and ensure progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers.
• Provide one-to-one or small group instruction and inclusive practices.
• Coordinate IEP meetings and referrals for assessments.
• Evaluate learners to inform educational program development.
