Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an experienced Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a behavior classroom in Alabama. This contract role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 37.5-hour work week and weekly pay, backed by comprehensive insurance options.

The role requires an active AL SPED license, classroom management strength, and the ability to develop IEPs and provide targeted instruction.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama SPED license required.
• Experience with elementary students in behavior/self-contained settings preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs for elementary students with behavioral needs.
• Provide instruction tailored to each student's strengths.
