Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking an experienced product marketer to own a defined body of work on a contract basis. You will craft positioning, drive GTM for launches, define target audiences, and produce credible, developer-focused narratives with data-driven metrics.

You will collaborate with Community, DevRel and Sales to enable content and partnerships while managing ambiguity and delivering concrete artifacts on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years in product marketing or go-to-market roles
• Background in games or deep grasp of modern development pipelines and creator workflows
• Proven experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, engineers, etc.)
• Exceptional writing translating complex tech into clear narratives
• Independent operator capable of handling ambiguity in early-stage products
• High comfort with ambiguity and shifting roadmaps
• Strong data literacy to define metrics and adapt based on signals
• Strong with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini) to move faster without compromising quality

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and narrative for assigned product areas; translate tech into practical value for Sales, Community and Content teams.
• Lead go-to-market for launches, betas and feature rollouts including tiering, audience targeting, channel plan and enablement.
• Define precisely who the product is for and document it for cross-functional action.
• Write messaging that earns credibility with practitioners and meets developers where discussions happen.
• Drive work across teams you just met and produce finished artifacts rather than waiting for direction.
• Track landscape and turn market shifts into sharp positioning and usable sales material.
• Turn forum threads, interviews and community feedback into actionable signals for teams.
• Create pitch decks, battlecards, and content for sales, success and support; partner with Content marketing.
• Collaborate on joint go-to-market with platform partners; measure success with Product & Analytics.
