Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting near Alabaster, AL. You will assess and treat students, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to individualized education plans.

The role emphasizes caseload management, timely documentation, and participation in IEP meetings within a multidisciplinary school community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state license and CCC-SLP or eligibility.
• Experience in school-based therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct therapy services tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational success.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation, including progress reports and IEPs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress.
• Provide consultative support and resources to educators and families.
