Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a vibrant Alabama school district. You will work directly with students in a collaborative educational environment, delivering therapy services and comprehensive evaluations across multiple campuses, onsite.

Caseloads are kept under 60 per SLP to maintain focus, and travel is limited to three locations. The position offers professional growth and strong support from our staffing team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CCC-SLP certification (ASHA).
• Holds or eligible for Alabama State Board of Education SLP certification (may begin with pending status).
• Experience in school-based speech-language therapy and evaluations valued.
• Ability to adapt quickly across elementary and high school settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional best practices with a student-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy for K-12 students across designated campuses.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development.
• Serve as an integral part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to promote individualized student growth.
• Travel to assigned schools (no more than three locations).
