Job summary

Nextaff is seeking a Contract Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality nursing care to long‑term care residents. You will assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to update care plans.

You will respond to emergencies, educate residents and families on plans, and ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations. LTC experience is preferred and an active RN license plus BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current resume
• Two professional references
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of recent RN experience
• Long-Term Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to long‑term care residents
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Develop and update individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond to changes in resident conditions and medical emergencies
• Educate residents and families on care plans and treatment
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations
