Job summary

Trellis is hiring a Contract Recruiter to scale our team quickly. This contract-to-hire role reports to Matt Halper and will handle a high volume of screens across engineering, deployment, and go-to-market roles.

You will be the first human conversation with candidates, shaping how Trellis is perceived. This hourly contract role offers a path to full-time employment and requires starting within one to two weeks, preferably from our SF office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle or agency recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for technical and go-to-market roles.
• Comfort running a high volume of screens each week.
• Experience with Ashby or a similar ATS.
• Availability to start within one to two weeks.
• Based in San Francisco or able to work from our SF office is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run recruiter screens: Own first-round conversations for a high volume of candidates, assess fit, and sell the opportunity.
• Source top talent: Find and engage strong candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and our networks.
• Manage the pipeline: Keep candidates moving through Ashby with fast, clear communication at every stage.
• Partner with hiring managers: Calibrate on what great looks like and share pipeline data and market feedback.
• Coordinate interviews: Schedule loops and make sure every candidate has a great experience.
• Keep it human: We don't use AI screeners. You'll be the person candidates talk to.
