Job summary

LHH in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Contract Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting across professional, administrative, technical, and operational roles. You will partner with hiring managers to define criteria, source candidates, and drive offers while maintaining strong candidate experiences.

The role requires organization, relationship-building, and the ability to handle multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in agency, corporate, or staffing environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and referrals.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent recruiting experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned requisitions from requisition intake through onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define hiring criteria, and develop recruiting strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Present qualified candidates and provide detailed candidate summaries to hiring managers.
• Facilitate offers discussions, compensation negotiations, and acceptance processes.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and recruiting activity within the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics include time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring progress.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and hiring procedures.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market trends, compensation expectations, and talent availability.
