Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Murfreesboro, TN and Reed City, MI is seeking a Contract Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume plant roles in manufacturing.

You will partner with local plant HR and site leadership, source candidates via Indeed and local boards, screen for skill fit, and manage interview scheduling and ATS records.

This variable-hour position supports production staffing needs and helps build pipelines for ongoing plant expansion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high volume recruiting experience is required.
• A strong focus on manufacturing or plant environments is favored.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously across a variety of functions and levels.
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Coordinate candidate interview schedules with local plant HR and hiring teams, maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
• Build and maintain active candidate pipelines to support continuous production staffing needs and rapid plant expansion.
• Maintain accurate records, applicant status, and disposition data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide regular pipeline updates and recruitment metrics to plant leadership and central Talent Acquisition.

Job Summary

The Contract Recruiter will support industrial manufacturing growth by sourcing, recruiting, and screening candidates for plant positions at our yogurt manufacturing facilities in Murfreesboro, TN and Reed City, MI. Partnering closely with local plant HR teams and site leadership, this role manages full-cycle recruitment activities to build talent pipelines and fill high-volume hourly and skilled manufacturing positions.

This temporary, variable-hour role focuses exclusively on manufacturing talent acquisition, making it ideal for an experienced industrial recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced plant environment.
