Job summary

Lactalis in Murfreesboro, TN (with Reed City, MI) is seeking a Contract Recruiter to source, screen, and hire for high-volume plant roles. The role is temporary, variable-hour and onsite, working closely with local HR and operations to meet staffing needs.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing positions, using Indeed and other channels, maintain ATS records, and report progress to plant leadership. Prior experience in manufacturing recruiting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant environments preferred.
• Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed and other platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions across functions and levels.
• Working knowledge of ATS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open plant positions in Murfreesboro, TN and Reed City, MI.
• Partner with local plant HR teams and hiring managers to understand staffing demands and tailor sourcing strategies.
• Source active and passive candidates using Indeed, local job boards, community partnerships, and referrals.
• Screen candidates for manufacturing skill fit, shift availability, and operational alignment.
• Coordinate interview schedules with local plant HR and hiring teams, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Build and maintain active candidate pipelines to support production staffing needs and rapid expansion.
• Maintain accurate records, applicant status, and ATS data.
• Provide regular pipeline updates and recruitment metrics to plant leadership and central Talent Acquisition.
