Job summary

BG Foods in Ankeny, IA seeks a Contract Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles. You will partner with hiring managers to craft sourcing strategies, screen and interview candidates, coordinate schedules, and manage offers and onboarding. A proactive recruiter with strong stakeholder management and knowledge of Workday is required. This is a manufacturing-focused, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of full cycle recruitment required.
• Experience with an ATS; Workday preferred.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools.
• Strong interviewing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions across Ankeny manufacturing facility.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
• Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Present qualified candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
• Manage offer development, negotiations, and acceptance processes.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide status updates on open requisitions.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within Workday.

This individual will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through offer negotiation and onboarding support. Experience, Skills, Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years of full cycle recruitment required, with specialty in production, operations, maintenance, and light industrial preferred.
• Applicant tracking system experience required, Workday preferred.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and interviewing techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and meet recruiting deadlines required.
