Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Info systems, finance or contracts background is a plus.
• 0–2 years’ related experience; advanced degree acceptable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to research and analyze payer industry information.
• Well-organized and able to work in a demanding environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to peak periods and after-hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist and use analytical models and data to support negotiations.
• Maintain contract records, files, logs and reports.
• Build productive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Maintain confidentiality of contracting information.
• Provide reports to Physician / Facility Contracting team.
• Develop professional expertise and apply company policies.
• Assist with various projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
