Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Cumming, GA, working Monday to Friday, 7:15am–4:15pm. The assignment is 3 months with potential for permanency.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient data while following established protocols and safety regulations. Experience with all age groups is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and decontaminate as required.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information; collect and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients; demonstrate technique with needles.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling and temperature control.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend required trainings and answer inquiries
