ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract posting in Cumming, GA. Schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial duration of 3 months and potential conversion to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly to patients.
• Match lab requisitions to specimens, label, split, and freeze samples per test orders.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures for transport.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in department trainings.
