Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist in Cumming, GA, on a contract basis with potential for permanent placement. The role runs 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday–Friday, for an initial 3-month period with possible extension.

Candidates should have 6+ months of venipuncture experience and a valid phlebotomy certification, plus high school completion. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and ensuring specimen integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience performing venipuncture on diverse age groups in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to document and update patient information accurately.
• Strong adherence to safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and prepare samples.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously to patients.
• Process specimens per test orders, ensure correct labeling and tracking.
• Prepare specimens for transport and store according to protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
