Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist in Manassas, VA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Experience with venipuncture and specimen handling is required, with 2 years of experience preferred.

The role involves phlebotomy on all ages, data entry, and basic computer skills. May travel to another location in Manassas as needed; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture on all ages.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and process samples as required.
• Document maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and store specimens as per procedures.
