Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure samples are transported with proper labeling and temperature.
• Attend annual department trainings; comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
