Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Port Charlotte, FL to support blood collection workflows in a fast-paced setting. This contract role runs for ~3 months with potential for permanent placement. Workdays are Mon-Fri, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
Pediatric to geriatric patient care experience required.
Valid phlebotomy certification for the state.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
Collects and stores specimens according to procedures; explains venipuncture clearly.
Demonstrates technique with straight or butterfly needles; follows physician orders.
Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and labels.
Packages specimens for transport and ensures proper storage temperatures.
Adheres to OSHA/DEP regulations and attends annual trainings; handles inquiries.
