Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture using straight or butterfly needles.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and document maintenance data.
• Prepare specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Explain procedures to patients clearly and courteously.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; participate in department trainings.
