Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY seeks a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanence. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and support laboratory workflows.

Experience with venipuncture is required, along with a state phlebotomy certification and basic MS Office skills. This on-site role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday duties.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and maintain records.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and document results.
• Label, centrifuge, and package specimens for transport according to protocol.
• Ensure sample integrity and comply with OSHA and department trainings.
• Answer calls and communicate test results as needed.
