Essenti Talent is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role at Castleton, NY, with alternate Saturdays in Latham. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, plus alternating Saturdays 7:00am–1:00pm. Duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Requires 2 years of phlebotomy experience and valid state certification.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, specimen handling, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid phlebotomy certification for the employed state.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, and maintaining data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperatures.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and read lab results to satisfy inquiries.
