Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a qualified Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Charlotte, NC. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
