Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC for a contract role with potential to become permanent. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an expected duration of about 3 months.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper handling, storage, and transport of samples. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience and a state phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store them per required temperatures.
