Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Colonial Heights, VA assignment. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper transport and documentation of samples.

The position runs on weekdays, 7:45am-4:30pm, for an initial 3-month duration with potential for permanent placement. Experience with venipuncture in fast-paced settings and OSHA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and labels specimens correctly.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously to patients.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and assist with department trainings as needed.
