Talent With Heart is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Ashland, OR. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with every other Friday off, offering potential for permanent placement.

The role involves drawing blood, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry while complying with OSHA and DEP regulations. Training and ongoing department education are part of the responsibilities.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED; Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in department trainings.
