ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent employment. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, with one Saturday per month 8:00am-2:30pm.

The role requires 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and state certification, serving pediatric to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, recording maintenance data, proper transport packaging, and ensuring OSHA/DEP compliance.

Competenze

2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
Pediatric to geriatric patient experience required.
Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment required.

Mansioni

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients; demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
Package specimens for transport and ensure OSHA/DEP regulation compliance.
Attend annual department trainings and manage sample labeling and paperwork.
