Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement in Katy, TX. The role requires handling blood draws, specimen processing, and accurate data entry.

The candidate must have a valid Phlebotomy certification and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Will be floating to locations in the area, with mileage expenses paid. Must maintain a clean driving record and reliable transportation, and be available 7:30 AM–7:00 PM,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Experience with pediatrics, geriatrics and all ages.
• Must have valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens following established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens; update patient information accurately.
• Ensure proper sample handling, packaging, and transport per protocol.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations; participate in trainings.
