Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label specimens and centrifuge according to procedures.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination steps.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Pack specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and document results.
