Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Phlebotomist for Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. This contract role offers 6 months minimum with potential for permanent placement and a float to nearby locations such as Brawley and Calexico.

Expect a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule, with starts as early as 6 AM or ends as late as 6 PM. The position requires pediatric and geriatric experience and mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• Certification as phlebotomist where employed is required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and ensure proper specimen collection.
• Demonstrate technique with needles and understand physician orders.
• Match lab requisitions to specimens and package for transport.
