Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. The job requires blood draws, specimen labeling, and strict adherence to safety and handling procedures while supporting laboratory operations.

Work is from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for permanent placement. The position may float to Brawley and Calexico; mileage is reimbursed and a clean driving record is required.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens, label, centrifuge, and store as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend departmental trainings.
• Answer phone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
