Qualifications

• State-required phlebotomy certification.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure correct matching of requisitions to specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain sample integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
