Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Owasso, OK seeks a Phlebotomist to support blood collection in a contract role. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for an initial three-month duration with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring patient safety and compliance. A valid phlebotomy certification and at least six months' venipuncture experience are required, along with HS Diploma or GED and basic MS

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Understand physicians' orders and match requisitions.
• Label, centrifuge, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings and answer inquiries.
