Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a contract Phlebotomist in Rock Hill, SC, for 3 months with potential extension to permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen labeling, and processing, with adherence to OSHA and lab protocols. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with straight or butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens with proper chain-of-custody.
• Record maintenance data and decontaminate work areas per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Package samples for transport and document results as required.
