Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a contract Phlebotomist in Rock Hill, SC. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient and lab data. The position runs 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial duration of 3 months and potential conversion to permanent staff.

Qualifications include a valid phlebotomy cert and a minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting. Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with proper technique.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens according to protocol.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling and temperature controls.
