Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Rock Hill, SC. Schedule is 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, with an estimated duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring specimen integrity and proper transport. Candidates must have a phlebotomy certification and at least six months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• High School Diploma or GED

Aufgaben

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature control.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and review lab results as needed.
