Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Rock Hill, SC. The role involves performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and accurate documentation under OSHA guidelines. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Potential for permanent employment exists.

Requirements include valid Phlebotomy certification for the state and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging and documenting maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures; ensure 100% correct requisitions.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and/or other specimen collection procedures.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol and OSHA requirements.
