Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens; explains venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimens, label, centrifuge, split and freeze as required.
• Package and store specimens per protocol; comply with OSHA/DEP regulations; attend trainings.
