Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection following established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and maintain patient comfort.
• Update and maintain patient information in systems and documentation.
• Attend training and comply with OSHA and regulatory requirements.
