Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Greer, SC. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an anticipated 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper handling and transport of samples. Minimum qualifications include 1+ year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, relevant phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and document results.
• Package and transport specimens following temperature and safety rules.
