Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Greer, SC to perform venipuncture, labeling and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab environment. The role requires 1+ years of phlebotomy experience and a valid certification, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.

Qualifications

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
Package specimens for transport and store samples per required temperature/ protocol.
Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
