The phlebotomist will perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and maintain accurate records while ensuring patient safety and OSHA/DEP compliance. Experience with venipuncture in fast-paced environments is required along with a High School diploma or GED and state phlebotomy

Qualifikationen

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work area and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and transport specimens per protocol.
