Vogrinc Search Group in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. Schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining patient records, with OSHA/DEP compliance and annual trainings. Minimum qualifications include a state phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Update patient information and decontamination procedures.
• Package and transport specimens according to protocol.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations compliance.
• Attend annual department trainings.
