Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on blood draws, specimen handling, and ensuring accurate labeling and transport of samples.

The position requires at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, a valid phlebotomy certification in the deployment state, and proficiency with MS Office. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, labels, and test orders.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature controls.
