Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC for a contract role with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The assignment is projected for 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and ensuring compliant transport and storage of samples per protocol. Prior OSHA/DEP-compliant training is required.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state you will be employed in.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
