Job summary

The Atlantic Group in New York, NY seeks a Payroll Specialist for a full-time contract role with potential to go permanent. You will support payroll processing for 3,000+ employees under supervision and ensure accurate data entry in WorkforceOne and related systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and 2–5 years payroll/HR experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; experience with Kronos and CTR Timekeeper is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred or relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of payroll/HR experience required.
• Experience with WorkforceOne/Kronos and CTR Timekeeper preferred.
• Knowledge of garnishments and wage attachments a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for 3000+ employees and audit payroll data.
• Enter and maintain payroll information in the HRIS system.
• Prepare reports and assist in payroll-related audits.
• Coordinate direct deposits and garnishment processing.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
