You will reconcile time and attendance, maintain payroll records, run reports in Excel, support year-end activities, and collaborate with HR and Finance to keep payroll compliant and error-free in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Payroll-specific training or coursework preferred.
• Professional payroll certification (FPC/CPP) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process regular and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on schedule.
• Review, validate, and reconcile time and attendance data prior to payroll submission.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including pay rate changes and deductions.
• Administer benefits and deductions with correct setup and ongoing calculation.
• Apply federal and New Jersey payroll laws in daily processing.
• Prepare and analyse payroll reports using Excel for discrepancies and audits.
• Investigate and resolve payroll issues with HR and Finance.
• Support year-end payroll activities and tax reporting.
