Job summary

Ascendo Resources is hiring a Payroll Coordinator for a fully onsite role in Trenton, NJ. You will be the sole payroll person, running end-to-end payroll for approximately 250 employees across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly cadence.

The position is contract-to-hire, with a pay rate of $25–$30 per hour and a target salary around $60–65K on conversion, depending on experience. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Qualifications

• Experience running end-to-end payroll for ~250 employees.
• Proficiency with Paycom or similar payroll software.
• Ability to manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll reconciliations, leave tracking and employee inquiries.
