Job summary

The Friedkin Group is seeking a contract payments specialist in Houston, TX to deliver exceptional customer service in phone and written communications, process claims payments, verify amounts, payees, and supporting documents, and coordinate payment workflows.

You will work with Claims, Operations, Accounting, and vendor partners to resolve discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and help maintain accurate payment records while meeting service and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Prior automotive/dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service in phone conversations and written communications.
• Process payments for approved claims per company policies and SLAs.
• Verify payment amounts, payee information, claim identifiers, vehicle details and required supporting documents.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, returned payments, duplicate payments, and overpayments.
