Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of claims processing/adjusting experience.
• ASE certifications in at least four areas preferred.
• Adjuster license required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and process claims from dealers, repair facilities, and customers.
• Verify agreement or application numbers; determine coverage for time and mileage; deny if not covered.
• Register verified claims in the database and review vehicle history.
• Discuss breakdowns with customers and/or service department; determine labor, parts, and rental or towing reimbursements.
• Determine total costs plus sales taxes and obtain approvals; issue a claim number.
• Answer questions about coverage, benefits, and denials; locate an honoring repair facility.
• Dispatch independent adjusters as needed and evaluate their inspection reports.
• Inform Team Specialist of results and coordinate actions within the company and with dealers.
• Process customer reimbursement and transfer requests.
