Job summary

Biodesix is seeking contracted mobile phlebotomists to collect samples at patients' homes or workplaces using nasal swabs or venipuncture. The role involves drawing samples for blood-based tests tied to diagnostic insights, with remote training provided for all kit types.

Reliable transportation and access to a smart phone and printer are required. Must be able to travel to patient sites, meet 24-hour contact expectations, and handle scheduling and invoicing promptly.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience within the last 3 years.
• Professional verbal and written communication with clients.
• Ability to follow procedures and manage patient interactions with empathy.
• Organized scheduling and ability to print/scan/upload documents.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours of assignment.
• Schedule appointments promptly (1–3 days).
• Coordinate with office about scheduling and issues.
• Perform specimen collection according to kit instructions.
• Pack and ship samples the same day using provided materials.
• Invoice draws promptly for payment.
